1. Yangshuo, Guangxi province, China
Hot and humid – almost 40 degrees C. Full of versatile players. No foul calls. Great bball skills in there. Come around 5:30pm and you will have good time. Bring 3 liters of water. At least.
2. Lijiang, Yunnan province, China
If you don’t feel height-sickness, stop there to play some ball. A 2400m-high bball court. So high that you can hardly breathe. Nice people and good skills though. People from 15 to 30 play hard, really hard. Almost no foul called in 2 days.
3. Evans Street Playground, Singapore
Souvenirs, souvenirs !
4. Danba, Sichuan province, China
Teenager and student players, from 15 to 23, play there every night. Good to see the surrounding mountains when shooting the ball. Level is ok, not great. Lots of people watching though, not really used to see western people in this small town.
5. Georgetown, Penang Island, Malaysia
6. Terelj National Park, Mongolia
Everywhere you will find country basketball courts. No one playing there excepted children sometimes. Always funny to practice on these freaking playgrounds.
7. Baisha, Yunnan province, China
A children court, funny though, cause two of them speak really good english ! Had a great time there… for half an hour !
